This Amendment 0001 to RFQ 36C25923Q0286 is to notify vendors of an opportunity to visit Oklahoma City VAMC to view the site that requires metal wall coverings.
Due to the inclusion of a site visit. Quote close date will be March 15, 2023, at 16:00 ET to allow additional time to complete quotes. For more information see updated RFQ 36C25923Q0286 Amendment 0001 dated 03/01/2023.
52.236-27 Site Visit (Construction).
As prescribed in 36.523, insert a provision substantially the same as the following:
Site Visit (Construction) (Feb 1995)
(a) The clauses at 52.236-2, Differing Site Conditions, and 52.236-3, Site Investigations and Conditions Affecting the Work, will be included in any contract awarded as a result of this solicitation. Accordingly, offerors or quoters are urged and expected to inspect the site where the work will be performed.
(b) Site visits may be arranged during normal duty hours by contacting:

52.237-2 Protection of Government Buildings, Equipment, and Vegetation.
As prescribed in 37.110(b), insert the following clause in solicitations and contracts for services to be performed on Government installations, unless a construction contract is contemplated:
Protection of Government Buildings, Equipment, and Vegetation (Apr 1984)
The Contractor shall use reasonable care to avoid damaging existing buildings, equipment, and vegetation on the Government installation. If the Contractor s failure to use reasonable care causes damage to any of this property, the Contractor shall replace or repair the damage at no expense to the Government as the Contracting Officer directs. If the Contractor fails or refuses to make such repair or replacement, the Contractor shall be liable for the cost, which may be deducted from the contract price.
