Description

10/18/2022 Posting Amendment P00001 to the Solicitation & response to Site visit questions: (2 pictures added; CSR RTU5 & CSR RTU9). All amendments must be signed and returned with the proposal.

1. Do the two rooftop heat pumps (RTU’s) have smoke detectors that will need to be replaced and will a fire alarm contractor need to perform the work associated?

ANSWER: Only RTU-5 has a smoke detector, RTU-9 does not. The existing RTU-5 detector can be reused and reconnected to the new heat pump. The work will need to be performed by a licensed fire alarm contractor. RTU-9 does not require a smoke detector.

2. Need to know time required to obtain crane permit once application has been sent.

ANSWER: At least 42 days will be required for a crane permit. Contractor will need to conduct a survey as part of the permit process.

3. Do the RTU’s have lightning conductors?

ANSWER: Yes. Reinstall existing lightning conductors to the new RTU-9. RTU-5 has no lightning conductors. See photos of the RTU’s for reference.

10/11/2022 The Site visit is changed to optional. It will be at the contractors risk to submit a bid without attending the scheduled site visit for the seed project.
