The 97th Medical Group at Altus AFB, OK 73523 has a need to purchase a new CEREC Primescan to allow the dental clinic to be able to maintain their high standard of producing same-day crowns for patients.

The 97th Contracting Flight intends to make award to Dentsply Sirona Institutions (CAGE: 6VQF4), due to the already in place interface with the Air Force's existing software and hardware for same-day work-flow, as well as the Air Force's current CEREC inventory.

The proposed contract action is for supplies/services for which the Government intends to solicit and negotiate with a single source under the authority of FAR 13.106-1(b). This notice of intent is NOT a request for competitive proposals and no solicitation document exists for the requirement.

Sources interested in responding to this notice are required to submit a capability statement that includes technical data and cost information, sufficient detail and with convincing evidence that clearly demonstrates the capability to meet the requirement. A request for documentation, additional information, or submissions that only ask questions will not be considered as an affirmative response. A determination by the Government not to compete based on responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government.
