THIS IS A SOURCES SOUGHT NOTICE ONLY. THIS IS NOT A REQUEST FOR PROPOSAL.
The Department of Veterans Affairs Network Contracting Office (NCO) 19, Rocky Mountain Acquisition Center (RMAC) is seeking information and sources that can provide one (1) automated nucleic acid extraction instrument for performing automated isolation and purification of nucleic acids free of contaminants and inhibitors for the use in infectious disease, oncology, and hereditary disease testing and 1-year service agreement for the Oklahoma City VA Healthcare System, 921 NE 13th Street, Oklahoma City, OK 73104.Â

The following specifications are necessary:

Equipment
Automated protocols for processing DNA, RNA, and protein samples
Programable for In vitro diagnostics and research protocols
Accept multiple sample types whole blood, plasma/serum, viral transport media, formalin-fixed, paraffin-embedded tissue
Barcode scanner and touchscreen to input kit, reagent, and sample ID data
Produce detailed run reports for traceability and process control documentation
