NOTICE OF INTENT TO SINGLE SOURCE – Global Finishing Solutions (GFS) – Paint Booth to Recirculating Booth

This announcement constitutes a notice of intent of the FAA to pursue a single source contract award process for this requirement to acquire from GFS for the procurement of Convert Global Finishings Solutions (GFS) Paint Booth to Recirculating Booth (While Painting) by adding Heating, Ventilation, and Air Conditioning (HVAC) capabilities.

The FAA authority for single source procurements is provided by the FAA’s Acquisition Management System (AMS) policy section 3.2.2.4.

Rational Basis for Use of Single Source Award Procedures:

This SSJ is primarily based on design and creation to meet uniformed specifications of a proprietary system solely owned by GFS. Use of GFS for this project will ensure the safety of our equipment, operation, and personnel. Using GFS ensures required specifications of their system is completed to the standards of their system and ensuring any warranty coverage.

Description: Supply and install all necessary material for adding Air Conditioning and humidity control to existing Global Paint Booth in FAALC paint shop Area B of the WSE-002 building

Delivery Requirements: 180 days from award date.
