This is a Notice of Intent to make a Sole Source Award for Surveillance services for Buildings 2840, 2841, 2856 for the AIT Barracks common areas to the 1st Battalion, 78th Field Artillery (FA), 428th FA Brigade (BDE), Fort Sill, Oklahoma.

Description

THIS IS A NOTICE OF INTENDED SOLE SOURCE AWARD. Mission and Installation Contracting Command Fort Sill, Oklahoma, intends to award a SOLE SOURCE to Rogers Electronics, Inc. 2320 N Park LN, Altus, OK, 73521. This requirement provides a Safe and Secure environment by providing surveillance in all AIT Barracks common areas. The Purpose of this requirement is to upgrade the current CCTV and provide a safe and secure environment of the AIT Soldiers who currently live in these buildings. This is driven by TRADOC Safe and Secure Program, requiring the system to record and store at least 120 days of recording. To ensure compatibility and prevent voiding existing warranties, the government intends to solicit and negotiate with only one source under the authority of Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) 13.106-1(b)(i) under Simplified Acquisition Procedures.

This requirement shall be awarded as a firm fixed price contract. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) Code is 334220, size standard 1,250 employees. This proposed contract action is for services for which the Government intends to solicit or negotiate with only one source under the authority of FAR 13.5. Interested persons may identify their interest and capability to respond to the requirements. This notice of intent is not a request for competitive proposals; however, all capabilities received within seven (7) calendar days after date of publication of this synopsis will be considered by the Government. A determination not to compete this requirement based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. Information received shall be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement.
