Description

This is a Sources Sought notice to obtain information regarding the availability and capability of all qualified sources to fulfill a potential requirement for the FAA for the acquisition of CARSR Program Support Facility (PSF) server.



The NAICS code is 334111 Electronic Computer Manufacturing. The purpose of this notice is to conduct market research and obtain information from qualified businesses.



This is NOT request for proposals, bids, or quotes. This notice does not represent a commitment by the Government to issue a solicitation or award a contract. The Government is not obligated to and will not pay for information received because of this announcement.



This procurement for The Federal Aviation Administrations (FAA) will provide necessary specialized upgrade/replacement of the CARSR PSF server to an updated, supported server and support software and the training to effectively utilize the replacement. This requirement will consist of engineering support services, additional hardware and software support, with full data rights to all items, products, and services. The CARSR PSF server MUST be compatible with the Raytheon CARSR Radar System. Raytheon developed the CARSR Radar Software Code and the PSF Server System in which to build the executable software for the radar system. Interested parties must possess the unique knowledge and capabilities necessary to teach, or upgrade the CARSR PSF server for this unique, complex, embedded system software code.

All interested parties shall submit clear and convincing documentation demonstrating their capabilities to satisfy the requirements listed above to Marc LeMay, Contract Officer, by email at marc.lemay@faa.gov NO LATER THAN April 10, 2023 @ 3:00PM EST. The capability documentation should include general information and technical background describing in detail the prospective contractor's capabilities and experience that will demonstrate the ability to support these requirements.
