This is a follow-on multi-year contract to FA8121-19-D0006 for the overhaul of the F100 PW-229 Blade compressor Rotor, 1st and 2nd Stage. This requirement is for a 5 year Min Max IDIQ contract with a 5 year ordering period. This PR is associated with the FMS PR FD2030-22-32555. The current contract is sole source with PAS Technologies, Inc., FA8121-19-D0006, and expires on 28 February 2024. The follow-on repair contract is required to support USAF for the repair/overhaul of the F100 PW-229, 1st and 2nd Stage, Blade Compressor Rotors. These are critical safety items that require engineering source approval to prevent any risk during installation on the engine and during flight.
Qualification Requirements: Sources must be qualified prior to being considered for award. To be eligible for contract award, the offeror must be an approved source IAW FAR 52.209-1, Qualification Requirements. The Government is not required to delay contract award to review pending Source Approval Requests (SARs). Therefore, offerors are encouraged to submit SARs as soon as possible. If the Government has not completed review of a SAR Remanufacture of F100 Blade Compressor Rotors (1st and 2nd Stage) when the contract is awarded, the SAR will be retained and the source will be reviewed as a possible source for future awards.
