The Air Force intends to solicit the following supply:
The 76th AMXG/564 is requesting utilization of funds for the purchase of one (1) Portable Laser
Maker.
The requested equipment item description / Specifications are outlined below.
Quantity of One (1) Portable Laser Maker.
Startup:
(1) Five (5) days of Installation and Training at Tinker Air Force Base, OK.
(2) Maintenance kit and instructions shall have a minimum of ten (10) replacement consumables such as belts and filters.
Standards:
(1) Shall comply with direct marking SAE specifications AS5942 or AS5649
(2) Shall comply with BAC 5152
Wire Processing / Handling / Printer
(1) Powered coiling pan.
(2) Knot and splice detection.
(3) Wire size and cut capability – 26 AWG to 6 AWG
(4) Measure and cut capability.
(5) Shall have a minimum speed of 25 meters per minute.
(6) Shall have upper- and lower-case text marking capability on wires.
(7) Table-top unpowered de-reeler.
(8) Wire tension monitoring to ensure wires are not over tensioned when being marked.
Power Requirements
(1) Electrically powered by standard 120VAC 20A.
(2) Device shall not require compressed air to operate.
Site Constraints:
(1) Plug Configuration shall be NEMA 5-15P.
(2) Dimensions: De-reeler and wire marker shall fit within a 65”(L) x 30” (W) x 40” (H)
Space.
Control:
(1) User control screen built into device.
(2) User control interface must be touchscreen.
A Firm Fixed Price type contract is contemplated.
Estimated Period of Performance: 30 days ARO
This is a small business set-aside
