This is a notice of intent to Sole Source Siemens Healthcare Diagnostics. The Government intends to Sole Source this requirement to Siemens Healthcare Diagnostics, in accordance to FAR part 6.305.

Lease for the Siemens Dimensions EXL 200 Reagents and Customer Support Agreement for the Clinical Laboratory at the 71st Medical Group at Vance Air Force Base. The EXL 200 will be utilized in the chemistry department of the laboratory. It will preform clinical chemistry ananlyses as well as immunossay testing for our beneficiaries. This will allow us to perform more testing in-house instead of shipping to reference laboratories, decreasing ou turnaround time to provide better customer service.

While there are other companies who provide reagents for the Siemens Dimension EXL 200, these reagents are not covered under the Siemens customer service agreement. Using a third party would void the contract agreement and make it more costly to repair or replace parts on the instrument.
