This is a notice of intent to issue a sole source purchase order using simplified acquisition procedures for modification to the ALTEC AT37G for use at McAlester Army Ammunition Plant. Only one authorized supplier, Altec Industries, Inc., has the material/technical ability to ensure a uniform compatibility and performance to match previous supplied ALTEC AT37G Aerial Device will only work with ALTEC New Bed and Outrigger System. Any purchase order will be awarded under 'other than full and open competition' as authorized by FAR 6.302-1.

This is not a request for offers. A determination by the Government not to compete this procurement based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. Information received will normally be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct future competitive procurements for this item.
