In accordance with Section 3.2.2.4 of the Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) Acquisitions Management System (AMS), the purpose of this announcement is to inform industry of the basis for the FAA’s decision to contract on a single source basis to All Weather, Inc.

The FAA has a requirement to procure ten (10) Information Display System Replacement (IDSR)/National Airspace System (NAS) Information Display System (NIDS) Control Cabinet (NCC) Racks and two (2) IDSR/NIDS Workstation Racks. This procurement will provide the FAA with the required hardware racks that allow IDSR/NIDS to be housed properly and ensure the time and data provided by the systems is synced with the network and interface data is ingested and sent to all NIDS workstations/remote sites. All Weather, Inc. is the Original Equipment Manufacturer (OEM) of the required hardware racks. All Weather is the only vendor who can provide the co-aligned sensor capturing system.
