This solicitation is for one-time spares buy (new manufacture) for the Turbine Ducts. NSN 2840-01-504-2791 NZ. Proposals will be accepted on or before the closing date of 19 Apr 2024, 2:00 pm CST. Offerors shall include the completed RFP documents (including prices, delivery, and clause fill in IAW Intruction to Offerors. Please see attached solicitation document(s).
Duct, Turbine, Aircraft NSN 2840-01-504-2791NZ
The function of the Duct, Turbine, Aircraft is to hold the outer air seal in place on the High-pressure Turbine Rotor Assembly. This item is comprised of nickel alloy; dimensions: 28.0” L x 28.0” W x 3.0” H, 12 lb.
First Article Requirements: Special Requirement Production Facilities, Test/Inspection Requirements, Test Plan required, Test Report required.
Qualification Requirements: Sources must be qualified prior to being considered for award. To be eligible for contract award, the offeror must be an approved source IAW FAR 52.209-1, Qualification Requirements. The Government is not required to delay contract award to review pending Source Approval Requests (SARs). Therefore, offerors are encouraged to submit SARs as soon as possible. If the Government has not completed review of a SAR when the contract is awarded, the SAR will be retained, and the source will be reviewed as a possible source for future awards.
