The 97th Contracting Squadron, Altus Air Force Base, Oklahoma, intends to issue a Request for Quote (RFQ) for acquisition of Bootstrap Sling Hoists for the KC-135 at Altus AFB, Oklahoma. This is the only equipment authorized to perform aircraft engine removal and replacement procedures on the KC-135 series aircraft. These items are part number specific for compliance to meet technical orders published under the Secretary of the Air Force.

This acquisition will fall under the North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code 332710. This is full and open competition.

Prospective contractors must be registered in the System for Award Management Database (SAM) prior to submission of quotes. Offerors are further advised that failure to register in the DoD SAM prior to submission of proposal will render your firm ineligible for award. Registration requires applicants to have a DUNS number. Recommend registering immediately in order to be eligible for timely award.
