FA8105-24-R-B002 released on SAM.gov on 22 February is a draft Solicitation/RFP. The final Solicitation/RFP will be released at a later date after which proposals are to be submitted/accepted.



Offerors who submitted proposals in response to the previous Solicitation FA8105-23-R-B-004 should consider submitting a revised proposal in response to the forthcoming final Solicitation/RFP FA8105-24-R-B002.

5. Description: The US Air Force needs an updated Fuel System (FS) and Flight Display System (FDS) due to obsolescence and is looking for innovative ideas to not only replace but improve these systems with turn-key solutions enabling supportability and future growth. The FS, FDS, and the potential derived requirement aspects of both define the scope of the CCR program.



6. The anticipated contract will be a Fixed Price Incentive Firm Target (FPIF), Firm Fixed Price, Cost Reimbursable single award indefinite quantity/indefinite delivery type contract comprised of One 18-Month Base Period with Seven 1-Year Option Periods and One 6-Month Option Period and a projected period of performance from December 2024 to November 2033.



7. An Ombudsman has been appointed to hear concerns from offerors or potential offerors during the proposal development phase of this acquisition. The purpose of the Ombudsman is not to diminish the authority of the program director or contracting officer, but to communicate contractor concerns, issues, disagreements, and recommendations to the appropriate government personnel. When requested, the Ombudsman will maintain strict confidentiality as to source of the concern. The Ombudsman does not participate in the evaluation of proposals or in the source selection process.
