Research will be focused on an externally serviced toilet with the use of a ground serving cart with no structural aircraft modifications needed.
Due to limited structural size the toilet assembly must not exceed (19) inches in width, (31) inches in depth and or (22.5) inches in height with the lid closed or 29 with lid open.
Specific Capacity should be at least (8) U.S. gallons.
Must be able to operate fully in all weather conditions including excessive heat and cold climates. (-40 degrees F to 140 degrees F).
Electrical circuitry must be compatible with 28v DC power source.
External servicing shall be performed by government personnel utilizing currently fielded ground servicing carts; minor modifications to hose fittings and couplers may be needed to the latrine or serving cart during integration and must be permitted by the supplier. Suppliers may request the model(s) and manufacturer(s) of these servicing carts.
Commercial, non-developmental systems may be included in the information provided.
