Description

The Federal Aviation Administration is conducting a Market Survey and requires commercial moving and relocation services for the Portable Reduced Oxygen Training Equipment (PROTE) located at 6500 S MacArthur Blvd, Bldg 13, Oklahoma City, OK 73169 and multiple off-site facilities. To perform all vital functions and support the Civil Aerospace Medical Institute (CAMI) and its regulatory responsibilities, the Statement of Work (SOW) has been written to provide direction and guidance. It identifies and assigns specific responsibilities and procedures unique to the PROTE.



The FAA will review the responses to the Market Survey and will make appropriate acquisition planning decisions that best meet the FAAs needs. The results of the Market Survey will assist the FAA to determine the extent of the requirement that may be set-aside for small businesses, socially and economically disadvantaged small business [8(a)] and Service disabled Veteran-Owned Small Businesses.



All interested parties are advised that the FAA will not pay for any information or any administrative costs incurred that are associated with any response received from industry in response to this Market Survey/Request for Information. Therefore, any costs associated with Market Survey/Request for Information submissions will be solely at the interested party's expense. This is not a screening information request or request for proposal. The FAA is not seeking or accepting proposals at this time.



Background and Scope of Work:



The PROTE is a portable Hypoxia trainer used to simulate low oxygen (7%) environments. This low oxygen environment is equivalent to flying in an airplane at 25,000 ft. The PROTE is required to travel to provide Hypoxia training to commercial and general aviation pilots.



The Contractor must furnish all contract oversight, management; supervisory and technically trained personnel; uniforms; equipment, materials, and supplies necessary to provide commercial office moving and relocation services for CAMI AAM-400. Attached Statement of Work (SOW) will provide additional guidance.



Response to this Market Survey:



Any information provided under this market survey is for informational purposes only and will not be released. Any proprietary information submitted will be protected if appropriately marked. No evaluation of vendors will occur and vendor participation in any informational session is not a promise of future business with the FAA. Responses to this market survey will be used for informational purposes only.



All responses (one response per company) are to be provided on company letterhead. Responses must be received by 3:00 P.M., Central Time on January 05, 2023. Market survey responses received after the time and date specified will be determined to be late and may not be considered.



Capability Statement:



Qualified vendors are invited to submit documentation evidencing the possession of the following capabilities:
