YourGovShop expects to reduce the cost of obtaining goods and services needed to support our program members operations by combining their purchasing volumes and soliciting pricing based on those combined volumes as well as reducing member costs by eliminating the need for individual bidding by our program members. In addition to facilitating the purchase of goods by our member entities, your company benefits by only having to deal with a single bid that will be applicable to many buyers. YourGovShop has developed an Internet-based electronic marketplace for member order placement. Orders will be electronically transmitted to the contract vendor. Vendor(s) receiving award(s) from this bid will be required to participate in this marketplace. There is no fee for this service, however there will be a 3%transaction fee per order(less freight), that will be borne by the vendor and payable to the YourGovShop quarterly. This cost should be included in your bid price. For example, your unit price for per Widget is $1.00 you would add 3% to that bid amount. Successful vendors will be contacted regarding catalog set up.
